If only that musclebound oaf, He-Man, would stay out of his way!

Discover Skeletor’s skills and what makes him such a nefarious Champion in the dark fantasy mobile RPG, RAID: Shadow Legends.

Check out our guide on how to use the Legendary Knights Revenant Champion Skeletor in RAID: Shadow Legends and unleash devious schemes upon your enemies!

WHY PLAY SKELETOR IN RAID: SHADOW LEGENDS?

Skeletor’s status as a Legendary Champion makes him one of the most powerful Champions in the game, but it’s his manipulation of buffs and debuffs that makes him a wily warrior.

Skeletor is a Support-type Champion that can place valuable buffs and debuffs, all while extending the duration of debuffs on his enemies and slowing them down. Placing Decrease Speed debuffs on any enemy makes Skeletor valuable enough, but having a chance to extend them is extremely valuable.

HOW TO GET SKELETOR IN RAID: SHADOW LEGENDS?

Skeletor will be available during the Skeletor Chase. Simply open the game on 7 different days between November 25, 2024, and January 8, 2025, to add him to your Collection. You must start the Skeletor Chase by December 24, 2024 to get him.

WHAT ARE SKELETOR’S SKILLS?

  • Havoc Scythe – Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Each hit has a 75% chance of increasing the duration of a random debuff on the target by 1 turn.
  • Skull Comet – Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 75% chance of placing a Petrification debuff on the target for 1 turn. If the target is a Boss, places a 50% Decrease ATK and 30% Decrease SPD debuff for 2 turns instead. Whenever a Petrification debuff is removed or expires on an enemy, has a 50% chance to place a 30% Decrease SPD debuff on that enemy for 1 turn.
  • Begone, Fools! – Places a 50% Increase ACC buff on all allies for 2 turns. Also has a 75% chance to steal any Block Debuffs buffs and one other random buff from each enemy. Then decreases all enemies’ Turn Meters by 15%. If an enemy is from the Telerian League, decreases that enemy’s Turn Meter by 30% instead.
  • Master of Evil [P] – Whenever this Champion attempts to place a debuff, steal a buff, decrease an enemy’s Turn Meter, or increase the duration of a debuff on an enemy, increases this Champion’s ACC by 20 for each buff on that enemy. Whenever this Champion is hit, has a 40% chance to place a 50% Decrease RES debuff on the attacker for 1 turn. The chance increases to 75% against Champions from the Telerian League.

Skeletor also has an Aura that increases all allies’ Accuracy by 60 in all battles.

SKELETOR RECOMMENDATIONS

Skeletor may be a Support-type Champion, but he’s more than capable of dishing out pain upon his enemies by burdening them with debuffs and stealing their buffs away from them. By constantly stealing buffs from his targets, Skeletor can pave the way for his harder-hitting allies to deal major damage without protective buffs to help them survive. Check out our recommendations on how to get the most out of Skeletor in RAID: Shadow Legends!

MASTERIES

As a master of manipulating buffs and debuffs, any Masteries for Skeletor should focus on increasing his Accuracy and granting him extra survivability. First and foremost, start with the Support Mastery Tree where you can pick up valuable Masteries such as Pinpoint Accuracy at Tier 1, Charged Focus at Tier 2, and Swarm Smiter at Tier 3. All three of those will increase Skeletor’s Accuracy. We also recommend picking up Rapid Response at Tier 3 – it will grant Skeletor a 30% chance to increase his Turn Meter by 10% whenever a buff placed by him expires or is removed.

From there, continue down the right-hand side of the Support Tree, grabbing Lore of Steel at Tier 4, Master Hexer at Tier 5, and Eagle-Eye at Tier 6 for even more Accuracy. To complement these Masteries, we recommend picking up Masteries from the Defense Tree that will help Skeletor survive longer. Defiant will grant some extra Resistance, Shadow Heal will ensure Skeletor gets healed when his enemies are healed, and Cycle of Revenge will grant a 50% chance to increase Skeletor’s Turn Meter by 15% whenever an ally is attacked with a critical hit.

GEAR

Equipping Skeletor with the right Gear is all about building his Accuracy, Speed, HP and Defense. As a Support-type Champion who focuses primarily on placing debuffs and manipulating Turn Meter, there’s no need to build any attacking stats. Specific Sets that you can use to enhance Skeletor include Speed, Accuracy, Perception, and Pinpoint. The latter of the group, Pinpoint, is a 9-piece Set that can grant up to 60 points of Accuracy, 32% Speed, and Intercept stacks, which block attempts at placing crowd control debuffs on the wearer.

BLESSINGS

As a Support-type Champion, there are a few Blessings that are great choices for Skeletor once he has been Ascended. The first of these options is Nature’s Wrath – an Epic Blessing from the Divinity of Harmony that increases the damage inflicted by a Champion depending on how many debuffs they have successfully placed, not counting those placed by Gear Sets. If you wanted to experiment and potentially give Skeletor a little bit more damage without sacrificing his Accuracy this is a great choice.

Other options include Intimidating Presence, which would further increase the amount of Accuracy Skeletor gets from his Aura if he’s in the Leader position, as well as Polymorph and Brimstone from the Divinity of Chaos. Polymorph has a chance to place a Sheep debuff on an enemy when they place a debuff on Skeletor, and Brimstone gives Skeletor a chance to place a Smite debuff on an enemy, raining down meteoric destruction.

SKELETOR TACTICS

Fulfilling his primary role as a debuffer and manipulator, Skeletor can fit into most teams across RAID: Shadow Legends with ease. Whether you’re a new player just starting out and he’s your first Legendary, or you’re a seasoned veteran looking for someone to place and extend debuffs with a default skill, Skeletor is a great choice. Not only is he great for early, mid, and endgame accounts, Skeletor is also useful across almost every game mode. Check out our recommendations on how to use Skeletor in RAID: Shadow Legends!

DUNGEONS

Skeletor is a very useful ally in tackling the Dungeons of RAID: Shadow Legends. His first skill, Havoc Scythe, can be used to extend the duration of debuffs, which can ensure mighty foes are kept under debuffs such as Poisons and Decrease Attack. Skeletor’s second skill, Skull Comet, can either place a Petrification debuff on a regular foe, or Decrease Attack and Decrease Speed on Bosses, so none are safe from his malicious attacks!

DOOM TOWER

For many of the same reasons that he excels in the Dungeons, Skeletor also performs outstandingly well in the Doom Tower. Placing Petrification debuffs can keep key enemy Champions out of the fight, and decreasing the enemies’ Turn Meters helps ensure his allied Champions can go before them.

FACTION WARS

Faction Wars is another area of RAID: Shadow Legends that Skeletor can excel in. He can pair very well with damage-dealing Champions such as Kalvalax and Georgid the Breaker to shred through enemies while they are laden up with debuffs placed by Skeletor.

SKELETOR TEAM COMBINATIONS

As a Support-type Champion that extends debuffs and steals buffs, Skeletor will pair very well with any Champion that can place other debuffs, such as Decrease Defense and Weaken. One such Champion available to all players is Warmaiden, who can be earned for free via the Campaign. In terms of damage-dealers, there are the likes of Ninja and Sun Wukong who are capable of dealing massive damage without the debuffs put out by Skeletor. Paired together, they are capable of wreaking havoc all over Teleria in RAID: Shadow Legends.
