WHY PLAY LIGHTSWORN IN RAID: SHADOW LEGENDS?
Lightsworn is a Void Affinity Champion, which means he is already one of the strongest Champions available in RAID: Shadow Legends because he is not at a disadvantage when fighting an enemy of any other Affinity. Lightsworn can also place valuable buffs on your allies, and important debuffs on your enemies, and is a viable Champion right through to the very end-game.
Whether you need a defensive tank to carry you through a particularly tough fight, or just someone to help support your team with protective buffs, Lightsworn is a great Champion in RAID: Shadow Legends.
HOW TO GET LIGHTSWORN IN RAID?
Lightsworn can be acquired by summoning him from Void Shards at the Portal. He can also be summoned during selected Summon Pool Events.
WHAT ARE LIGHTSWORN’S SKILLS?
Though his skills may seem simple, Lightsworn is a valuable ally who can prevent your team from dying and place debuffs that allow your damage dealers to capitalize. Check out Lightsworn’s skills in RAID: Shadow Legends now!
- Teardown – Attacks 1 enemy 3 times. Decreases the target’s Turn Meter by 10%.
- Brutality – Attacks 1 enemy. Places a 50% [Decrease ATK] debuff and a 30% [Decrease SPD] debuff for 2 turns.
- Indomitable – Places a 60% [Increase DEF] buff and a [Revive on Death] buff on all allies for 2 turns.
With Revive on Death and Increase Defense buffs, Lightsworn will be a tanky addition to most teams. If you need someone to help keep your damage-dealers and supports alive, this is your Champion. There’s also potential for some decent damage here, being a Defense-type Champion, and having a triple-hitter on his first skill. Check out our recommendations for the perfect Gear, Masteries, Blessings, and more to get the most out of Lightsworn in RAID: Shadow Legends!
Built as a tank or debuffer, Lightsworn can rely on the same Masteries for each build. You’ll ideally want to focus on the Offense and Support Mastery Trees, gaining Masteries that increase your damage and your Accuracy specifically. As a Defense-type Champion, it’s easy to build Lightsworn so that they are capable of massive damage. Support Masteries such as Pinpoint Accuracy and Swarm Smiter will help increase the Accuracy so that Lightsworn can land debuffs such as Decrease ATK and Decrease SPD.
Equipping Lightsworn with the best Gear will enable you to get the most out of this monastic menace on the battlefield. As a protector, you’ll need to focus on ensuring that Lightsworn’s Defense is as high as it can be. However, Lightsworn can also function as a debuffer, so it’s worth also putting the focus on Accuracy, Critical Rate, and Speed. Artifact Sets that will increase these stats include the aptly-named Accuracy, Speed, and Defense Sets. For a combination of the two, definitely consider equipping Lightsworn with Artifacts from the Perception Set.
With Lightsworn’s two key roles focusing on being either a damage-absorbing tank, or a debuffer, there are two choices that we would recommend for Blessings: Survival Instinct, or Cruelty. Both offer increases to HP, and Cruelty also offers a boost to Lightsworn’s Resistance. However, their benefits lie in what the Blessings actually do. Survival Instinct will allow a Champion to partially fill their own Turn Meter whenever a debuff is applied, spread, or transferred to them. Cruelty, on the other hand, will decrease an enemy’s Defense with each hit of a skill.
Lightsworn is an excellent Champion for almost any area of the game, except for PvP modes such as the Arena. Outside of there, it’s hard to find a game mode where Lightsworn isn’t a valuable ally to have.
Great for most Dungeons, but really excels in Fire Knight thanks to their triple-hit first skill. With no cooldown, Lightsworn can contribute to bringing down the Fire Knight’s shield before then debuffing him, and buffing their own allies. Outside of the Fire Knight, Lightsworn is a very valuable defensive Champion and will slot into most teams needing someone to fulfill that role.
Similar to his useability in the Dungeons, Lightsworn is most valuable in the Doom Tower as a defensive tank unit. They can protect allies while putting out debuffs and dealing damage, and Lightsworn is also capable of adding to those areas themselves.
Within the Sacred Order Faction, Lightsworn is a Champion that can help carry your team through some of the tougher rounds, especially against the Faction Crypt Keepers. If you’re struggling to keep your team alive in longer fights, Lightsworn can provide some much-needed protection, survivability, and his Revive on Death buff can bring your Champions back if the worst should happen to them.
