MEET THE CHAMPION: ALICE THE WANDERER

Rebellious, adventurous, and ferocious in equal measure, Alice the Wanderer had long wondered about the world beyond the confines of the Sacred Order before she became an inquisitor. While hunting evil wherever she found it, Alice discovered the treachery of the Queen of Hearts, a power-mad Knights Revenant hellbent on claiming the throne of Kaerok. Now she has a new target. A crimson quarry – and Alice the Wanderer will not be swayed.

Reimagined from Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, she can be a help to any team in the dark fantasy MMORPG RAID: Shadow Legends. Download the game now to check her out.

ALICE THE WANDERER IN RAID: SHADOW LEGENDS

Go through our guide on how to use the Legendary Sacred Order Champion Alice the Wanderer in RAID: Shadow Legends, and destroy evil wherever it festers.

WHY PLAY ALICE THE WANDERER IN RAID: SHADOW LEGENDS?

Alice the Wanderer is a ferocious attacker, ruthlessly manipulating the cooldowns of her enemies and increasing her own damage whilst doing so. When paired with Champions that can place defense-decreasing debuffs or damage-enhancing buffs, she can become a real powerhouse of a Champion, dealing large amounts of damage rapidly.

Whether you’re looking for a Champion who can manipulate the cooldowns of your enemy’s skills or just a high damage-dealer who can help you take down enemies swiftly, Alice the Wanderer is a very valuable ally to have in RAID: Shadow Legends.

HOW TO GET ALICE THE WANDERER IN RAID: SHADOW LEGENDS?

Alice the Wanderer will be available during the Alice Chase as part of the Alice’s Adventure Event in RAID: Shadow Legends. Just open the game on 7 different days between January 8th 2025 and April 10th 2025 to add her to your Collection. You must start the Alice Chase by March 26th to get her that way.

From March 27th, you’ll be able to summon Alice the Wanderer from Ancient, Primal, and Sacred Shards. She may also be summoned from the Prism Shard using Prism Crystals during select Summon Pool Events.

WHAT ARE ALICE THE WANDERER’S SKILLS?

Alice the Wanderer’s skills are focused on extending the cooldowns of her opponent’s skills, and enhancing her damage based on those cooldowns. As long as you’re aware of your opponent’s cooldowns, Alice is capable of quickly removing key Champions from a battle. Check out the full list of Alice the Wanderer’s skills in RAID: Shadow Legends!

  • Vorpal Sword – Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Places an extra hit if the target has any active skills on cooldown. Each hit has an 80% chance of decreasing the duration of a random buff on the target by 1 turn.
  • Clockwork Cyclone – Attacks all enemies. Has a 75% chance of increasing the cooldowns of all enemy skills by 2 turns. Also has a 75% chance of decreasing each target’s Turn Meter by 15%. If at least one of a target’s skills has its cooldown increased to the max, decreases their Turn Meter by 30% instead.
  • Queenslayer – Attacks 1 enemy. Will ignore 20% of the target’s DEF. If the initial target is killed, also attacks the enemy with the lowest HP. Will also ignore 20% of the target’s DEF.
  • Tick Tock [P] – Passive Effect – Whenever this Champion attacks, inflicts 3% bonus damage to each target for each turn remaining on all of their skill’s cooldowns. The bonus damage is counted individually for each target. Active Effect – Resets the cooldown of one of this Champion’s skills each time they kill an enemy. Occurs once per skill.

Alice the Wanderer also has an Aura that increases all allies’ Attack in all battles by 30%.

ALICE THE WANDERER RECOMMENDATIONS

In order to maximize her effectiveness in battle, Alice the Wanderer requires a build that focuses on balancing Accuracy and Speed with Attack, Critical Rate, and Critical Damage.

While she won’t achieve astronomical damage, her true value lies in the cooldown-extending part of her skillset. Keeping your enemy’s strongest skills at bay is very useful, whether it’s denying a revive attempt or ensuring a Champion can’t wreak havoc with a massive AoE attack.

Check out our recommendations for the perfect Gear, Masteries, Blessings, and more to get the most out of Alice the Wanderer in RAID: Shadow Legends!

MASTERIES

Alice the Wanderer is, first and foremost, an Attack-type Champion so you’ll definitely want to give her Masteries to complement that. Even without the damage increase that comes from enemies having skills on cooldown, Alice is still capable of moderate-to-good damage.

However, she’ll also need Accuracy to ensure that enemies are having their skills’ cooldowns increased by 2 turns thanks to her Clockwork Cyclone skill. With that in mind, we recommend taking Masteries from both the Offense Tree and Support Tree.

Work down the left-hand side of the Offense Tree for Masteries such as Keen Strike, Single Out, and Bring It Down for additional damage against higher MAX HP targets like Bosses. Your single Tier 6 Mastery will very much depend on where you plan on using Alice the most.

For PvE content such as Dungeons, Doom Tower, and Faction Wars, we recommend picking up Warmaster for the bonus damage. If you intend to use Alice in the Arena, for which she would be a great alternative to the Void Legendary Warlord, then we recommend Helmsmasher for the 50% chance to ignore 25% of a target’s Defense. With Alice already ignoring 20% of a target’s Defense when using her Queenslayer skill, it can really improve her damage output.

As for the Support Tree, we recommend working down the right-hand side to get Masteries such as Pinpoint Accuracy, Charged Focus and Swarm Smiter to increase her Accuracy. You can find our full Mastery recommendations in the screenshot below.

RECOMMENDED MASTERIES FOR ALICE THE WANDERER IN RAID: SHADOW LEGENDS

GEAR

Balancing Alice the Wanderer’s Gear is likely to be the trickiest part of building her successfully for all manner of content. She needs a bit of everything to be truly impactful – Attack, Critical Rate, and Critical Damage to destroy her enemies, Accuracy and Speed to increase their cooldowns before they have a chance to take a turn, and HP or Defense for some survivability. She’s a well-rounded Champion that requires well-rounded stats.

In terms of specific Sets, we recommend picking up a combination of damage-increasing and accuracy-increasing Artifacts and Accessories from the likes of Merciless, Speed, Savage, or Cruel.

Merciless is a great choice as it’s a Variable Set, meaning you’ll get a bonus for placing anywhere between 1 and 9 pieces of Gear. Another great Set we recommend is Relentless – a 4-piece Set that grants a Champion an 18% chance to get an Extra Turn. Taking Extra Turns means you’re getting back to impactful skills like Clockwork Cyclone quicker, so you can keep your enemies’ skills on cooldown.

BLESSINGS

As an Attack-type Champion that can play well across several different game modes within RAID: Shadow Legends, there are several Blessings that we’d recommend for Alice the Wanderer.

First up, there’s Brimstone – a Blessing that allows a Champion to place the Smite debuff, which in turn has a chance to deal massive damage to enemies. It’s a great pick for Alice if you intend on using her primarily in PvE content, such as taking on Bosses or other enemies with high MAX HP.

If you’re intending to use Alice more in the PvP side of RAID: Shadow Legends, we recommend picking up either Temporal Chains, Polymorph, or Harmonic Impulse. Each of these offers a boon to Alice the Wanderer in a different way.

Temporal Chains decreases each enemy’s Speed by a percentage for each active buff they are under. Being able to slow your enemies means Alice can use her Clockwork Cyclone before they can take a turn and instantly put their most powerful skills on cooldown.

Polymorph is a great counter to any team looking to place debuffs on Alice, and Harmonic Impulse fills a Champion’s Turn Meter whenever they lose their turn because of a Fear or True Fear debuff, as well as decreasing the cooldown of the skill they attempted to use when the turn is lost thanks to True Fear. When facing enemies in the Arena like Ma’Shalled or Taras the Fierce, this can come in very handy indeed.

ALICE THE WANDERER TACTICS

Alice the Wanderer can be a great Champion for many areas of RAID: Shadow Legends, given her diverse skillset and potential to keep an enemy team locked out of their most impactful skills.

Where Alice falls off in terms of usefulness is taking on Teleria’s Bosses. She doesn’t have any skills whose damage scales off enemy MAX HP, and many Bosses are immune to having their cooldowns increased, making her Clockwork Cyclone skill only useful for damage potential. There are some Bosses where the Turn Meter decrease may come in handy however, so she’s a valuable Champion to have in the fight regardless.

DUNGEONS

Taking on the Dungeons of Teleria is no easy feat, but Alice the Wanderer can help make clearing waves of enemies a little easier. In particular, her Clockwork Cyclone skill will be useful for ensuring enemy waves can’t use skills that slow your team down.

With her unable to increase the cooldowns of Boss skills, she can use this skill against the preceding waves of enemies without having to worry about it coming off cooldown for the fight against the Boss itself. There are some Dungeon Bosses who are susceptible to Turn Meter decrease effects however, such as the Fire Knight and the Spider, so she’ll be more useful against them.

DOOM TOWER

Alice the Wanderer will also perform well in the Doom Tower, especially clearing the Normal Floors between Boss Floors. Her ability to manipulate an enemy team’s cooldowns and scale her own damage based on those cooldowns will help tear through enemy teams.

Much the same as the Dungeon Bosses, there are some who are susceptible to Alice’s ability to decrease an enemy’s Turn Meter, such as Borgoth the Scarab King, Astranyx the Dark Fae, and Agreth the Nether Spider. Be warned though – Agreth will punish you for decreasing her Turn Meter!

FACTION WARS

Within the Sacred Order, there are many valuable allies for Alice the Wanderer. As an Attack-type Champion, she needs to be paired with fellow Champions that can enhance her damage via defense-decreasing debuffs. For example, the Void Legendary Champion Venus can place both a 60% Decrease Defense debuff and a 25% Weaken debuff in the same skill – very handy for enabling Alice to deal more damage with her skills.

There’s also Vault Keeper Wixwell who can place Intercept stacks on a target ally. Each Intercept stack will block one attempt at placing a crowd control debuff – if these are placed on Alice, it can help ensure she can land her Clockwork Cyclone skill if she’s not quick enough to outspeed her enemies.

Overall, there are a number of great Champions to pair Alice with when taking on Faction Wars, and she herself can be incredibly useful for taking on both waves of enemies and the Faction Crypt Keepers at Stages 7, 14, and 21.

ALICE THE WANDERER TEAM COMBINATIONS

Similar to what we’ve mentioned above about Alice needing to be paired with Support-type Champions, the perfect team composition for her is one where she’s alongside a reviver, a protector, a debuffer, a second damage-dealing Champion, or an amalgamation of these four roles.

Most locations in RAID: Shadow Legends allow teams of 4 or 5 Champions, so you can experiment with Alice the Wanderer being either the primary damage-dealer or a secondary one where you focus on building her Accuracy and Speed to land the cooldown extension on Clockwork Cyclone.

In terms of specific Champions that Alice would pair well with, there’s her fellow Sacred Order Champion, Lightsworn. Capable of placing Increase Defense and Revive on Death buffs, Lightsworn can offer some much-needed protection and survivability to Alice. A Champion such as Stag Knight can also provide the necessary Decrease Defense debuffs on the enemies to help make Alice’s damage even more potent.

Finally, another Support-type Champion who would be a valuable ally to Alice is Renegade who,  with her Sacrificial Ritual skill, can decrease her allies’ skill cooldowns by 2 turns. Combined with Alice’s Clockwork Cyclone skill, your team can keep your enemies under lock and key and end a fight quickly.
