WHY PLAY XENOMORPH IN RAID: SHADOW LEGENDS?

A Legendary Champion from the Dark Elves Faction, the Xenomorph is one of the most powerful Champions in RAID: Shadow Legends. Coupled with this creature’s ability to passively place Poison debuffs and corrode the enemy’s Defenses, it becomes a nightmarish fiend for enemies to deal with.

The Xenomorph is an all-around exceptional damage-dealing Attack-type Champion, offering a variety of buffs and debuffs, as well as outstanding damage potential against Teleria’s toughest residents and a self-revive should things not exactly go to plan.

HOW TO GET XENOMORPH IN RAID: SHADOW LEGENDS?

The Xenomorph will be available to all players for free during the Xenomorph Chase Event. Simply open RAID: Shadow Legends on 7 different non-consecutive days between November 24, 2025, and January 9, 2026, to add the Xenomorph to your Collection. You must start the Xenomorph Chase Event by December 26, 2025, to get this Legendary Champion.

WHAT ARE XENOMORPH’S SKILLS?

  • Tail Stab – Attacks 1 enemy. Places a 5% Poison debuff for 2 turns. Places three 5% Poison debuffs if this attack is critical. Also places a Perfect Veil buff on this Champion for 2 turns.
  • Infestation – Attacks 1 enemy. Before attacking, places a Stun debuff and an Infest debuff on the target for 2 turns. These debuffs cannot be resisted if this Champion is under a Perfect Veil buff. Places a True Fear debuff on all other enemies for 1 turn. This debuff cannot be resisted if this Champion is under a Perfect Veil buff. [Passive Effect] – Revives this Champion whenever an enemy under an Infest debuff dies.
  • Rip and Claw – Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Deals 15% more damage for each Poison debuff on the target. Also places a Perfect Veil buff on this Champion for 2 turns.
  • Caustic Blood [P] – Whenever this Champion is attacked, has a 25% chance to place a 5% Poison debuff on the attacker for 2 turns. This debuff cannot be resisted or blocked if the attack is critical. If an enemy is under a Poison debuff placed by this Champion, decreases their DEF by 20%.

XENOMORPH RECOMMENDATIONS

Capable of dominating in both the PvE and PvP game modes of RAID: Shadow Legends, the Xenomorph is a powerhouse of a Legendary Champion. As well as placing Poison debuffs passively, and reducing the Defenses of enemies under Poisons placed by the Xenomorph, it can also revive itself thanks to the new Infest debuff it can place upon enemies. Check out our full recommendations on how to get the most out of the Xenomorph in RAID: Shadow Legends!

MASTERIES

Being an Attack-type Champion, you’ll want to focus the majority of the Masteries on the Offense Mastery Tree. However, the Xenomorph can also place debuffs as part of its kit, including Stun, Poison, True Fear, and the brand-new Infest debuff, so you’ll also want to grab some Accuracy-boosting Masteries from the Support Tree as well. We recommend starting off with Deadly Precision and Pinpoint Accuracy at Tier 1, before moving on to the likes of Keen Strike and Charged Focus at Tier 2. Continue to focus on picking up Masteries that boost damage or Accuracy, culminating in the Tier 6 Offense Mastery, Helmsmasher, and the Tier 5 Support Mastery, Master Hexer.

Helmsmasher grants a Champion a 50% chance to ignore 25% of a target’s Defense. For the Xenomorph, this pairs well with the Caustic Blood passive skill which is already reducing an enemy’s Defense if they’re under a Poison debuff placed by the Xenomorph. Master Hexer, meanwhile, grants a Champion a 30% chance to extend the duration of any debuffs placed by that Champion. For a Champion like the Xenomorph who places consistent Poison debuffs, as well as the Infest debuff, this is a must pick-up Mastery.

GEAR

Boosting the Xenomorph’s Attack, Critical Rate, and Critical Damage is going to be the most important focus of your Gear for this Champion. As an Attack-type Champion, the Xenomorph will thrive off higher Attack and Critical Damage specifically, but be cautious not to overdo it with the Critical Rate. You don’t need it higher than 100%, so don’t waste time going above that threshold.

Our recommendations for Gear Sets include the Lethal Set, which can be farmed from Astranyx the Dark Fae in the Doom Tower, as well as the Merciless Set, which can be found in the Cursed City. Both of these Sets are perfect for damage-dealing Champions. The Lethal Set offers an additional 10% Critical Rate and grants the wearer the ability to ignore 25% of an enemy’s Defense – paired with Helmsmasher, this is a massive increase to damage.

The Merciless Set is a Variable Gear Set, meaning there are different bonuses depending on how many pieces of Gear you equip on a Champion. Bonuses start at a 10% increase to Attack for 1 piece of Merciless Gear, and go all the way up to +25% Attack, +30% Critical Damage, +10% Speed, +35% to the Ignore Defense stat, 30% chance to decrease a random skill’s cooldown when dealing damage, and a 15% chance to get an Extra Turn. It’s the perfect Set for any damage-dealer – like the Xenomorph!

BLESSINGS

Whether you’re intending on using the Xenomorph to dominate the Arena, or take on Teleria’s mightiest Bosses, the Blessings that we’d recommend for the Xenomorph largely remain the same. Crushing Rend of the Chaos Divinity grants a Champion the ability to ignore a percentage of its enemy’s Defenses, while Brimstone enables a Champion to place the Smite debuff which can deal meteoric damage to an enemy when they use an active skill.

Another great choice for the Xenomorph is the Lethal Dose Blessing from the Dark Divinity. Specifically for use in PvP settings, such as the Arena and Siege modes, this Blessing increases the damage enemies receive from Poison debuffs placed by this Champion in Arena and Siege. It’s a great way of dealing even more damage whilst passively pumping out Poison debuffs – no additional work necessary and enemies will corrode before your very eyes!

XENOMORPH TACTICS

Across all modes of RAID: Shadow Legends, the Xenomorph is a truly mighty Champion with plenty of strengths that can be applied to almost any battle scenario. A damage-dealer and debuffer rolled into one, the Xenomorph can be used to great effect in the Arena with high-damage skills and a self-revive skill, or when toppling Teleria’s titanic Bosses with consistent damage over time thanks to the passive application of Poison debuffs. Check out our recommendations on how to use the Xenomorph in RAID: Shadow Legends!

DUNGEONS

The Xenomorph can slot into most teams as your primary damage dealer when taking on the Dungeons of RAID: Shadow Legends. Passively placing Poison debuffs against attackers is great for clearing waves of enemies, especially when combined with a Support Champion who can place Decrease Defense and Weaken debuffs. You may also want to consider bringing a Champion who can extend the duration of debuffs to ensure enemies can’t escape their Poison debuffs, or even bring a Champion who can place Poison Sensitivity to enhance the damage enemies receive even further.

DOOM TOWER

Similar to above, the Xenomorph is an exceptional Champion for taking on both the waves of enemies in Normal Rooms, and for taking on many of the Bosses present in the Doom Tower. As before, make use of the passive Poison placement, and bring appropriate Champions in your team to capitalize on that synergy.

FACTION WARS

There are plenty of powerful Champions within the Dark Elves Faction that the Xenomorph can pair with, including several free options such as Mithrala Lifebane, Visix the Unbowed, and Lydia the Deathsiren, if you’ve already managed to clear Faction Wars on Normal Mode. There are some amazing Epic and Rare Champions to pair well with as well, including Dark Kael, who places plenty of Poisons of his own, and Coldheart, with a powerful skill that scales based off an enemy’s MAX HP.

XENOMORPH TEAM COMBINATIONS

With the Xenomorph fulfilling the role of a unique Attack-type Champion who requires Accuracy to land plenty of Poison debuffs, your team composition should focus on enhancing the damage that the Xenomorph can do. As mentioned above, there’s plenty of great options within the Dark Elves alone, such as Coldheart and Visix the Unbowed.

Other Champion roles that you may want to consider include someone who can boost the Xenomorph’s Accuracy stat, so that it can land Poison and Infest debuffs more effectively. Champions such as Mithrala Lifebane or Michelangelo have an Aura that increases their allies’ Accuracy, and would be a great addition; Mithrala can place protective buffs to shield the Xenomorph from harm, and Mikey can act as a secondary damage-dealer alongside the Xenomorph.
